The REfresh Alliance is supporting the decarbonization journey of the beverage industry’s value chain through renewable energy solutions.
REfresh Alliance is an industry-wide collaboration that aims to combine the expertise and resources of its members to create impactful solutions to shared energy challenges across the beverage supply chain.
We assist our program members and suppliers in decarbonizing their operations by removing obstacles to the adoption of renewable energy and providing education in best market practices and the selection of solutions. We identify the best contractual option for participants, which can include aggregation, to open up a wider range of projects, improve accessibility of renewable energy for smaller suppliers and make adoption more economically viable for the supply chain as a whole.
Why does REfresh Alliance exist?
REfresh Alliance aims to convene the beverage industry and its suppliers to support their journey to net-zero. Climate change is an increasingly pressing issue across the world, impacting local communities and livelihoods. While businesses alone cannot solve this global challenge, collaboration across the industry can make an important contribution. Together, we are working with suppliers to provide resources and help accelerate their decarbonization journey.
HOW IT WORKS
We work with Delivery Partners — established energy advisory firms with global reach and strong track records — to manage the development and governance of the program. Together, we use our collective scale to help program members and suppliers decarbonize their operations.

How we help
Through combining the use of Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs) and Energy Attribute Certificates (EACs) with a dedicated educational program, we bring together suppliers, companies and providers in a scheme tailored to the needs of the beverage industry.
